The Rotary Club of Rotorua has stepped forward to provide cash donations and equipment for disaster relief since the 1930s.
Emergency Response Kits (ERKs) and Shelter Boxes are ready made solutions that can be sent to where they are needed.
ERKs are smaller, localised kits designed for immediate post-disaster needs, providing basic survival items for a few days until larger-scale aid arrives.
Shelter Boxes, on the other hand, are larger, more comprehensive packages providing essential shelter and tools for longer-term recovery, delivered to families who have lost everything.
